Weir Wood Reservoir is one of the top spots in the South East for windsurfing, winging, and foiling, offering stunning scenery and excellent conditions. Covering 280 acres and stretching 1.5 miles, it provides the perfect playground for both seasoned riders and those looking to take their first steps into these exciting watersports. Whether you’re carving across the water, mastering your first foil flight, or refining your winging skills, Weir Wood is the ideal spot to progress and enjoy the thrill of the wind.

Booking Information
If you have your own equipment, you’re welcome to launch from our dedicated access point, but please remember that we are a low-traffic site and there are limited drop-off times for launch and these must be booked in advance.
Changing rooms with hot showers and toilets are available for all water users.
Members are also welcome to attend regular events at the reservoir, such as Saturday Afternoon Racing and leisure sails.
Important: To protect our waters, all equipment must be clean, drained, and dry before launching. Full terms available on booking.
Membership & Pricing
Annual Weir Wood Sport and Leisure Memberships:
Single Adult (18+): £200/year – Includes free access to the water during specified times for paddle and sail (including windsurfing, winging, and foiling).
Single Junior (6-17): £50/year – Must always be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
Social (No access to water, but supervisory access to facilities): £50/year
Craft Storage: £50 per craft
⚠️ All water users must wear a well-fitted and tested 50N (minimum) buoyancy aid at all times on the water.
