Dinghy storage: £150 per space per year
Paddlecraft storage (SUP/kayak/canoe): £50 per craft per year
Do I need to book to launch my own craft?
Yes. All members must register attendance via the online booking system every time they visit.
When booking as a member, a 100% discount is applied automatically. The booking exists purely for safety and site management, so we know who is on the water and when.
Non members must also book in advance and may only launch during staffed office hours.
Do you offer flexible or bespoke family memberships?
Yes. We recognise that not all families fit a standard model.
If your household structure, caring responsibilities, or usage needs fall outside our published family membership options, we can build a bespoke package that works for you.
Contact the office to discuss your requirements and we will propose a practical solution.
Is the water supervised?
No. The water is not continuously supervised.
Safety craft may be operated during busy periods, but members use the water at their own risk. All users must follow site safety rules and hold appropriate insurance for their craft and activity.
What are the opening hours?
Office hours for hire, café, and supervised sessions are published on our website and updated seasonally.
Adult, Couple, and Family members can access the water and changing rooms outside office hours using their access codes.
How do I join?
You can join online via the booking portal.
If you need help choosing the right membership, email info@weirwood.co.uk
How do I access facilities out of hours?
Eligible members receive secure gate and keybox codes.
Keys must be returned to the keybox after use. Personal keys are not issued.
Do I get a membership card or craft sticker?
Yes. All members receive a membership card and boat stickers.
A valid membership card is required to receive discounts in the Clubhouse Café and Bar.
After joining, please provide a passport sized photo (doesn’t need to be as serious as one though!) in person or by email so your card can be issued.
Do I need my own insurance?
Yes. Members launching personal craft must hold valid third party liability insurance with a minimum cover of £5 million.
Insurance must be available on request and should align with recognised standards such as Paddle UK On The Water cover provided with their membership.
